My adoption pool seems to be emptying and I was thinking about taking out nostrayrespawn for one play session to refill it, if it works like that.

If you do that though it will mean your strays respawn as well. If you have completely clean neighbourhoods a la Jordi/SarahMK, you need to keep the no respawn hacks in permanently otherwise you suddenly find the characters folder filled up with non-required crap after loading the neighbourhood. Still, if you already have strays, it will only make up the numbers when you load without the respawn hack. Needless to say, Pescado's no respawn hacks are now in a Downloads sub-folder marked in big red letters - DO NOT REMOVE.

Well, once you completely empty the adoption pool of puppies and kittens, the pool will repopulate, even with nostrayrespawn. I kind of wish it would repopulate by type, since I had only one small puppy and two large puppies and three kittens...
