Is there no cure for Petspam?

I was wondering if there's any mod that gets rid of these wants to 'teach pet command' that will not die? Or, worse yet, command them to do something utterly useless. Any chance it could also nuke the skunk fears?
Sims should reasonably be afraid their pet would be sprayed if they've seen a skunk at their house, or a pet has been sprayed in the past. But instead they roll skunk fears for 'someone they don't even know who lives in another neighborhood's dog that they happened to bump in to on the street". It's made even worse by how these fears are hogging all the slots. I don't know when I saw a normal apiration fear, last. ::)
