Wardrobe error and leftovers vanishing.

Gawd how stupid! I suppose it's like outfits. I really do think outfits should be in a sim's inventory so they move out *with* their clothes, and the same outfit can't be worn by the whole household on the same day! Once they have grown out of them, the player could use normal inventory controls to hand them down to another sim.

Clothes in the inventory would certainly solve the immense wardrobe problems. JM talked about getting a Salvation Army van or similar to come and take away old clothes, once upon a time, but it must either have not been possible to implement or he couldn't be bothered. :D

You can do it in SimPe, take a look at this tutorial: http://theos.chewbakkas.net/tutorials/tutorial-ngbh-wardrobe.html

It gets better... if a preggo Sim who normally wears custom jammies (or whatever) moves out, after she has the baby, her custom jammies are gone and she has to wear the ugly Maxis ones! I haven't tried this again after getting Squinge's wear anything as maternity clothes fix.
