Wants controller must refer to a person - error that bluescreened my sims

I just had an error that crashed my game and wondered if anyone could tell me what it means.
It said the wants controller must refer to a person.
I don't see anything in the error log that I recognise as a hack - not that that's saying much.

I keep getting that too, but no bluescreen. I just carpet bomb the area with the stuck object remover & that usually clears it up, don't know why.
I get it at big moments in a sims life - first woohoo, first kiss, wedding, or age transition, usually. but occassionally I've gotten it during a fight or a suicide.

Yeah, I was having a wedding around then...
I loaded a hood backup I made just prior to playing the game today and this time no errors were triggered.
