Long-dead Sim still on loading screen

This is as a result of me making a proper pigs ass of the Asylum Challenge. Did I ever bugger it up royally.
Anyway one of the sims who died early on in the challenge still shows up alongside the now-elder sole survivor. I suppose Grimmy was so overworked as a result of my risible incompetence at playing the challenge that he overlooked this particular soul.
How can I get rid of this dead Sim?
