where has my flamingo wall light gone?

How do I find what is causing it not to appear?
I've taken all the downloads out, cleared the groups.cache and checked the date on my OFB objects file. It hasn't been modified since I patched OFB so I suppose it's alright. What do I do next?

I checked up the older item listings for game objects on Troll Sims and found the imfamous Neon Flamingo in the two categories but the thumbnail image was different - did they remove the original decor item and modify it to a wall-fixed light for Nightlife?

In my game (Uni/NL/OFB), only the latter wall light version is present (no black backing like the first version).

Scan your downloads with SimPe checking GUID control. That way you can see if something is overwriting the Flamingo light. Some items are supposed to have conflicting GUIDs, hacks mostly.

Thanks for the icons trollsan and the links with the prices of the lights. I'll look for a 99th time in game in case I didn't recognise it. If the object itself has actually changed that might be why the old ones on the commuity lot walls are gone. I can see they might not change into new ones, but I would have expected an error message. I'm wondering if the changes in NL, just didn't make it into OFB somehow - I don't have NL.
