where has my flamingo wall light gone?

Haven't seen that fluorescent flamingo in a while. It used to be in deco, but from OFB it's a wall light apparently.
I thought it was a GUID conflict, but yesterday I took out ALL my downloads and it is still not in the catalogue. I cleared that groups.cache and checked my OFB objects file - it's date/timed exactly the same as the version file, so it looks OK and I didn't bother replacing it from the CD and then trying to patch again. I installed a community lot called "The Flamingo" because of the number of them on the wall and lawn. Went into it with testingcheats true - no flamingo's on the wall, no error messages and nothing in the error log apart from audio errors. I have various script mods for stairs and stuff and the 'hood camera.. that's all that's left in at the moment. Didn't think it could be them.
Anyone else missing this light and what do I do next?
I have base game and OFB - that's all.

This was done on purpose by Maxis...I think it's in one of the chat transcripts somewhere. It happened with NL, I think.

Why? It seemed to work perfectly fine for me.

I guess they decided it belonged in wall lights instead of decorations because, well it is a light that goes on the wall ;) Makes sense either way to me actually *shrug*

Ah, okay. I thought you meant they removed it from the game. Moving it in the catalog does make so much more sense though. At any rate, I didn't even notice it had even been moved because I don't use that light in practically any of my houses.
