I Broke BodyShop

(1/3) > >>

Orikes:
I rarely use it, so I'm not sure what I might have done. If I try and open BodyShop, it gives me the loading screen, gets about 1/8th of the way across and then gives me a message that it needs to close. The Sims2 itself runs just fine.

Anyone seen this type of thing before?

BlueSoup:
Nope, but a couple of things you can try:

Delete cigen.package.  It hangs out in the same place as groups.cache.

If your Downloads folder is subfolder, remove all the things that have nothing to do with bodyshop, like objects and recolours.

Emma:
Are you using the bodyshop.exe from your latest expansion? I had this problem when I installed Uni and was still using the .exe from the original game.

Jelenedra:
I never had a problem using Bodyshop from the vanilla game after installing EPs. But the packages tend to tell people I used OFB content when I didn't.

Orikes:
I've attached two files that were created after the crash.

I deleted the cgen package to be sure that wasn't a problem. I also made sure I was opening up the bodyshop from Family Fun Stuff (my latest ep).

The exact error is "The application has crashed. The application will now terminate."
