Hat Stands For Thinking Caps & Noodlesoothers
nectere:
Cap placement is always placed in one direction, in the opposite direction of the arrow and it is backwards, always. So in order to make it appear that the statue is 'wearing' the cap, you need to flip the statue around. I cant control how they set the cap down, so the solution is to turn simply turn the statue around. I tried flipping the mesh, but it didnt matter, its the arrow that matters in regards to the direction the cap is set down.
In my extensive testing of both the unhacked and hacked versions of this I did not find that the sims would not use the statue at all.
In the hacked version they always use it regardless of placement and regardless of how many tables/counters are right next to it. I have had the sim on the other end of the lot and they still place it on the hacked table/statues even with many other available surfaces in between.
Feel free to come up with a better mesh. I simply supplied my bribe as requested, and not just one but two meshy things, for the price of one. :-*
&eta, the green statue looks best outside, possibly near bushes etc, for the noodlesoother, so that it becomes a part of the landscape and close to the vehicle which is where it is most needed.
BlueSoup:
So, if he chose your bribe, does that mean you won the contest?
nectere:
no, if you read the rules, it means anyone that places with a high enough score - or possibly simply because - can be called upon to supply the bribe and if the bribe is not supplied as indicated and promised one faces a breach in said contract....
***4. If your entry scores amongst the top winners, you will be required to remit the promised bribe. Failure to do so will result in your entry being penalized in score by the same amount you would have gained for the bribe. This may result in the loss of winning position.
BlueSoup:
Well that was sneaky of him. :D
Chienne:
Oooh! Great idea!
