Post-mortem affairs come back in OFB?

I haven't been playing in awhile, virtually a newbie to OFB.

I have been using JMP's marriage-postmortem hack since it was first made available, and I have the latest version from last April.  But in my game I have a guy who went out to"get some" for the first time following the death of his wife, and now he's got a memory of having an affair.  Never encountered this problem with spouses of the deceased before.  Did some awful Maxian code come back with OFB?

No, but the bug "sticks" once it has happened to a specific sim, so upgrading the hack or your game won't undo it. You have to manually reset preexisting problems with SimPE.

Bleah... I was afraid of something like that.

Is it more than just eliminating the affair memory?  I can do that easy enough.  If it requires some other kinds of adjustments, maybe someone can be so kind to explain them or point me to a post that does so.

Yes, you have to go into the sim's relationships panel in SimPE, highlight the deceased spouse, and uncheck the box that says 'married' to his/her late spouse.
