Fix major scrach on nightlife cd. Any suggestions?

I went to play my game and the game will not load up. I took out cd and found a huge scratch on it.
Any one know how to get rid of it? Or fix it up?
As it stands I can't play my game. (sigh)

I believe there is a site which allows you to use a download that bypasses the need for a CD. My brother says gamecopyworld.com. It's only for those who own a copy first, so isn't illegal.

Sorry it won't be of help. My kids use it on the other computer so we can all play and it works great. I bought a CD cleaner/repairer at Walmart that sort of worked but if the scratch is really deep, or in the same directions as the info it won't help. After that I'm out of ideas.

The scratch must be deep for I can't even get my game to load up. the scratch is going across the CD.
Edit: Well I bought another copy of Nightlife and reinstalled again so I have to start everything all over again >:(
