"Spud" means potato in the UK too. "Sprog" is a slang term for kids of all varieties, upto and including teens (if you want to put their hackles up, that is ;)).
Yeah, that probably would irritate teens, calling them a sprog!

Thanks for the clarification re "mother". *Takes thinking cap off, and rubs head.* Must be going senile.
Uh-oh, your aspiration isn't dipping into the green, is it? Gotta be careful about that!
laeshanin:
Aspiration always green, dammit! Just can't seem to get all my needs met...
I have never had a sim put a baby in the cot autonomously. They leave 'em lying around the floor and I have to try and find out where. Or I just click on the cot to make 'em do it. Why do we play this game when they are such a pain?
ZephyrZodiac:
Well, I think they used to do it in Sims2, but university screwed so many things up! I'm pretty sure in Sims 2 you could hand babies to family members who were visiting, too.
RainbowTigress:
I remember before the patch came out, family members would "kidnap" babies by deciding to go home but forgetting to put the baby down first. People were panicking all over the BBS, thinking their babies were "gone."
ZephyrZodiac:
I was lucky, that never happened to me, maybe because most of my sims were only first generation CAS and had very few family members living in a different house.
