I need help with the hacks

I've downloaded two hacks and I can't get them to work in my game.  I put them in the My Documents/EA Games/The Sims2/ Downloads folder but they still aren't showing up.  Can somebody help me?

Did you extract them to your Downloads folder?  They come in zip folders to compress the files, but you have to extract them so you are just left with the .package file.

You might also want to indicate which ones they are, since many hacks don't actually have anything that would show up in buy mode, they just change behavior.

I tried but it says that it is in an unrecognized format or damaged

Well, I got the Age Duration hack, and it did work when I extracted it, so it'll probly work in the game now, but the one that won't let me extract is the Triplets & Quads hack.

What kind of extractor are you using?

I've noticed that sometimes people have problems with certain files here and they won't extract.  Tell me the one you're trying to get and I'll put it up here, and if it's small enough I can maybe extract it first.

Its the Triplets and Quads hack.  Its only like 10KB so it should be small enough.

Well, there are two versions - do you want the random one or the regular one?

Edit:  Okay, here's the regular version and the RTFM.  Put it directly in your Downloads folder or a subfolder.

ok i got it.  Quick question though.  If I save it to a portable flash drive and transferr it to my downstairs computer that doesn't have the internet, will it still work?
