Can't adjust relationships bar using testingcheats?
Sita:
Slymenstra, she already knows how to do that. That's what she said didn't work...
HomeschooledByTards:
Yes, and you have to find which one of those 160 files is causing the problem. You need to do a "binary search". It's a lot easier than it sounds, I promise. It's also a LOT faster than testing all 160 files individually.
Take out half of the files, start your game. See if problem exists.
If YES (you can't edit the relationship):
* The problem file is one of those left in the game.
* Take out half of the ones left, start your game. See if problem exists.
* Repeat until you can edit the relationship.
If NO (you can edit the relationship):
* The problem file is NOT one of those left in the game.
* Take out all of the files.
* Put in the other half of the files. Start the game. See if problem exists.
* If YES (you can't edit relationship) see above.
Example:
1.package
2.package
3.package
4.package
5.package
6.package
1. Move files 1-3 to a temporary directory.
2. Start the game. If the problem exists, it's either 4.package, 5.package, or 6.package.
* 2a. If the problem does not exist, the problem is either in 1.package, 2.package, or 3.package. Move 4-6 out into a temporary directory, move 1-3 into games directory. Repeat steps 3-5, using appropriate named packages as needed.
3. Quit the game, move 4.package, start the game. If the problem exists, it's either 5.package or 6.package.
4. Quit the game. Move 5.package, start the game. If the problem exists, it's 6.package. TADA! If the problem does not exist, the problem file is 5.package.
5. Move the broken package out and move the working ones back in.
Tip:
Don't mix known working packages with unknown packages. Create as many folders as you need to keep yourself organized during this search.
Once you find out which file is causing the problem, you can report it here and someone may be able to fix it, or we can tell you if you can live without the file.
Sita:
Oh, aren't we being helpful today, Jesslla! Does the Senate know about this? :o
jezzer:
Burn in hell, Titlights.
BlueSim:
Did you find out what mod was causing the issue? I'm installing the Ultimate Collection now and putting all my CC back in, including the director's cut. I think the engine it's running is M&G, so hoping all the AL mods will work fine with it.
