White Flying Textures on lot after two days of playing, any help?

The sledgehammer tool often works too.

These are definately ceiling tiles. I've had it happen in my own game before. The sledgehammer tool did nothing for me and the only way I found to fix it was to place foundation where the white blocks were and then delete them again. I assume the foundation forced the grid to level itself.
