Extracting Music from Game
youarehome:
Has anyone figured out how to extract music from the games and convert them into MP3's?
MrMugg:
EAxis didn't like people extracting their music, so they made it harder if not impossible to do so now. They couldn't keep it simple like Sims 2. Probably trying to sell more soundtracks. Although if there is a way to extract them, I would be interested.
Klinn:
I've never tried it, but there are instructions over at MTS here: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=418050
Menaceman:
It can be done, yeah. I have all of the music from each pack prior to Supernatural extracted and converted to MP3.
The link above doesn't seem familiar to me. I'm using a program called "The Sims 3 Sound Converter" but I honestly can't remember where I downloaded it. I do know I have never had to use a hex editor with it though.

Who in their rightful mind would want to buy a Simlish soundtrack?
