I had my sims use the blackjack table for an entire sim day and none of them gained a single skill point in the gambling skill. Is that just me or are other people having this problem as well?
Just you? I was able to max out my sims' durring testing with no problem. I call ccmerged.package fail.
Hmmm... I'll redownload ccmerged and see if maybe when I was updating everything I forgot to do that one.
Painkiller:
Don't replace your ccmerged file with KT's one, put his in the override folder. That worked for me anyway.

I tried replacing it and putting it in the override folder. Still won't gain the skill. They can play fine, and the chips and cards show up with the updated fixes, but they just won't gain the dang skill. I haven't seen any of the moodlets either besides unlucky and lucky which have always been in the game.
virgali:
My test sim gains gambling skill both from the table and slot machines. I simply followed KT's instructions.
I'm having an odd phenomena in my game though. The voodoo doll won't bind to sims unless my test sim has a high relationship with them. At first I though it's because she's evil but she lost that trait when the FOY backfired on her and now has a childish trait instead. Yet the doll won't bind to sims unless she has a "high" relationship with the victim. Does anybody have a clue why this is happening?

In KT's instructions, it says the fix assumes all premium content was installed the same way. Well I use packages for all of mine, but I have a legit version of Hidden Springs installed, so my FoY is installed via the launcher. Would that be the problem?
