New Pets patch 1.29
J. M. Pescado:
That is actually...rather curious. I am wondering what exactly it means that the item appeared in the game at all. Is it, therefore, actually sitting on the computer waiting for you to spit on your hands, hoist the black flag, and start slitting throats?

Watch for the in-game store advertising. Wanted something from the store but didn't have the simpoints, now you might be able to have it with the right amount of simpoints. Oh joy.
Hopefully Am will find a way to block these, I wonder if these show up if you own have everything.

I took the image from the official forum and I haven't patched yet so I wonder the same thing. Waiting to see what mods need updating.

Kissing_Toast, no dip, Sherlock. That thought obviously never occured to me because I am such an incompetant n00b that I have absolutely idea what the fuck I'm doing, certainly haven't been doing this for years, and was, by no means, obviously just momentarily confused because I was unable to locate the invalid file on the goddamn disk. So, maybe instead of being so arrogant as to believe that anyone who knows what they're doing doesn't make any mistakes and insulting people who attempt to politely ask for help why don't you just shut your mouth?
We don't DO polite here. If you weren't such a goddamned noob you would know this. Sheesh, tards these days.

Kissing_Toast, I don't understand why I shouldn't use the cracks for Arr'd copies, when everything else I've seen says I should. Would you please explain?
I'm feeling particularly charitable today, so I'll field this one. See, the reason we don't recommend people use cracks is that so many people overwrite the original .exe with the cracked .exe, which makes the game impossible to patch without having to reinstall the whole damn thing (I know it's hard to believe that this could happen, but I assure you, I've seen it. Recently). Then there's the issue that a patched version of a game will usually require a brand new cracked .exe file to match the new patch version. It's just high maintenance, and we recommend skipping it when, in the case of TS3, there are much more user-friendly options available.

I'm guessing they will, since decrapped/repackaged store files are treated as brand new, different objects by the game. Heck, if you used .packages, decrapped files, AND bought the store item, you'd have three different copies of it in your catalog.

I'm glad he didn't say "No shit, Sherlock." I would have fucking shat myself at such vulgarity.
