Can't reinstall Town Life 5005:0x80070002

There is a start/run, you just have to choose it to appear in options. As I said I looked in regedit and took out everything I found, using the English name, the French name, the guid name. Did the same in C, and could reinstall everything but Town Life which still gives me the "finish the installation first" error when I want to install. Add/remove did a botched job, and I'm stumped.

In any case, you screwed up your computer. So backup what you need and reformat.

I'm asking people who have knowledge, as I've been helped here many times over the years, but it seems to be silly season and "the less I have to say, the louder I'll say it' season.
