I actually found it in the search (yay me!) before anyone replied.

I GOT AM TO WORK!! I used the "show contents" way and its worked… but now I still can't get the CC to show up. As I understand you put the CC in the packages folder right? Do I have to install it using the launcher? Everything is in the spots I understand them supposedly to be in, for a mac. show contents of Sims 3 application>contents>resources>transgaming>c_drive>program files>EA>The Sims 3>Mods>Packages

Obviously I'm missing something here… hmmm…

EDIT: I am an idiot. I had sim3pack stuff in the packages folder. Let me get those to packages and see if that works.
