OFFICIAL! Building Contest of Pudding Awesomeness! Rules here!

(1/2) > >>

rohina:
Earlier today, Pescado was complaining about the lack of good buildings in TS3, viz:

<@Pescado> You know, I've discovered that TS3 has made me completely hopeless when it comes to building now.
<@Pescado> TS2 had a bunch of presets, so I could just slap those together to create something that looked like your typical buildingy things.
<@Pescado> TS3 gives me nothing, so everything turns into gray bunkerstan

Do you have what it takes to create a building that is NOT Gray Bunkerstan? Can you build something Awesome enough to be included in Puddingworld? Are you prepared to be judged and found wanting?

Announcing the third official Building Contest of Awesomeness, this time for the Pudding.

Here are the Rules:

1. Build an Awesome Community Lot, which does not look like a grey block.
2. Your building should be attractive, and furnished, but not contain crappy crap.
3. There will be ONE category: community lotses. No one wants your stupid generic house.
4. You may enter as many times as you like.
5. Entries must be posted in the official submissions thread, which will open a week before the submission deadline.
6. Your entry should have some good screenshots, so people can judge it without having to download it.
6a. Your entry should BE downloadable, though, in case any judge does want to check out how it looks in game.
7. All bitching must be done in THIS thread, not the official submissions thread.
8. All rules are subject to change without notice.

DEADLINE: August 30.
JUDGES: Practicality Judge - Pescado; Aesthetics Judge - Glinda LaButt; Judgy Judge: TBA.
BRIBES: Yes, please. Bribing will be an important factor in all judging.

Milhouse Trixibelle Saltfucker III:
Procedural question: Is the Judgy Judge's job to judge the perceived judginess of the lot? If not, why not? It ought to be.

Jeebus:
You forgot to mention the BRIBE.

jezzer:
I've got a couple of community lotses already made.  This is relevant to my interests.

ZelRai:
Sounds interesting. May EA store and/or custom content be used? Or is it just EP and SP content?
