Hi everyone.
I'm in The Sims Life Stories for the PC, and I'm playing Vincent's story. I'm at the point where his goal is to invite Alexa and Naomi over for a pool party with Greg, however, after inviting them over, the goal does not complete. Some how, the "Please wait..." goal has shifted down into his wants section, and it does not complete either.
I've tried inviting them over as many ways as I can think of. Does anyone know how I can "kick start" Vincent's goal?
Thanks.
It was some years ago that I played this game and I have a vague memory there was a situation like this. In my case, it meant waiting for several (sim) days before the item was clocked as done. This isn't very helpful to you, I know. I believe this game is quite buggy and it would be a good idea to make frequent backups.
Ignore Spockblock and jeebuschrist, they're new and think it's all, and only, about the sporking, disregarding the fact that this is actually a SIMS site.

Ya, it's been going on for over a week like this now :\
You don't happen to know of a hacked object that can "accept" all of my sims wants?

I don't recall anything like that for this series of games. I remember I tried using some of Pescado's sims 2 hacks with varying levels of success.

Hmm, I can find J. M. Piscado's directory thread, although browsing through his directory, I have no idea what any of those hacks do :\
Do any of those ring a bell?

Ignore Spockblock
Now that's not bad advice, and I've given it myself on at least one occasion, but c'mon, Witch, it's not strictly true that I think MATY is also about the sporking. It's clearly also about making fun of Trixie and correcting grammar. And, also, I've even once tried to help Claeric find a solution for...something...so I'm not opposed to lending a hand to a well-though-out request, when it's clear the poster has gone to the search well for help and has come up dry.
With this one, however, I was mostly just surprised that anyone still plays Sim Life Stories. That game was so poorly kludged and ill-conceived it's more of a shock when any of the "stories" completes properly than when one doesn't.
