I use sims3packs, I used the fix, it works. Packages that "fix" store stuff just need to be decrapped if you're using decrapped store stuff as sims3packs.

That's not what I meant. I mean what was wrong with the original file that it refused to work? Like is it the xml, or the objd, or what exactly.

I don't have my game set up to use package files and don't really want to. I have my game running pretty good right now and I don't want to mess with anything. I may wait awhile to see if someone can fix the sim3pack to work properly. If they can't, I'll just buy it.

I need a bit of feedback here. The downloads thread has traditionally been for sims3packs and packages made from the same. Would you people be wanting to see a broken object and a fix included, or should I leave those things in this thread?
Oh and is the book of spells a separate store object? Cancel that, I see I've already put a spellbook in the downloads thread.
ETA: Nope, Brownlustgirl says the spellbook is part of the library set.

I looked for the Book of Spells available as a separate object in the Downloads thread, didn't see it. Do you want me to take the one I uploaded down?
I think the fix for the spells can stay here. There are other fixes in this thread already, right?

This thread is fine, and I don't want you to take anything down. I was referring to the thread for downloads that I move the posts to. I was just getting a little confused as to what is directly from the store and what is not.
I might just move the spellbook back here with its fix until there is a fixed one available as a sims3pack. Just to avoid the inevitable bleats. It will slot in the thread at its original time and date though, so it will appear further back.
Thanks for the fix in the meantime Havelock.
ETA: OK Now I am going blind and don't see the spellbook for download anywhere. :-\
