Why this dumbas sim behave like a dumbass ?

Why? Isn't it more convenient if they run and more entertaining if Insane sims behave oddly?

There's also a bug in the vanilla EA game, either with the update or AMB, I'm not sure which. If any of your sims play tag with another sim, those sims will forever after run EVERYWHERE. Just today I discovered that Twoftmama at Crazytown has a mod that disables autonomous tag; I'm hoping it prevents this until EA patches the game.

It isn't the athletic trait triggering this.  I have a lazy, fat, couch potato that runs from the refrigerator to the stove; 2 tiles away! Another suggestion was that playing tag triggered this.  That is all well and good but this slob of a man also hates children, so I doubt that is why he runs.

Bugger:
Sims are DAMN SLOW, so when I get around to playing TS3 I prefer that my sims run everywhere.  For this bug, I get to check the "feature" box.

I've got one Sim who runs everywhere. He started running when his athletic skill increased. He's now at level 8. He's a firefighter at level 9 of his career. None of my other Sims does this. I don't have AwesomeMod installed yet, and no other mods, so it appears to be a "feature" of the game. None of my Sims has played tag.
