How can I get rid of a file I cannot find that, by all means, doesnt exist?

If you uninstall your game, you might want to try this: http://download.cnet.com/Revo-Uninstaller/3000-2096_4-10687648.html It digs all the way down the registry and gets rid of all traces of the game. I haven't had any issues with Revo, and the reviews of it are good. And it's free.
Good and free. If it came with vodka, it would be perfect.

Just be sure to not get the type of tape that you iron on. It would probably suck.
