Questions about EADM
(1/1)
Mmmary:
I wonder if anyone could offer me a bit of advice. I'm planning to get the H&M stuff pack from the EA Store, but to install it, I would have to use EA Download Manager. I have a few questions:
1. A RYG FAQ tells me that if I don't have SecuROM on my computer yet, it won't piggyback in with EADM. Am I reading that correctly?
2. If I install H&M stuff with the download manager, will I be able to play unconnected from the internet? Will it want to phone home every time, and if so, can I humour it for a while but then turn the connection off?
3. I'm currently playing with all EPs and a no-cd crack for AL. Does the crack somehow pose a problem for digital downloads? Or would the H&M stuff pack just take AL's place as the latest installed game?
Thanks!

So it claims. I wouldn't trust any information that isn't negative, though.

Anything installed through an "EA Download Manager" is spyware.

H&M is below AL, so will run AL's executable.

Right, thank you. ARRing is starting to emerge as a very alluring option, then. :P
