The no-intro mod works fine with ambitions. Nothing changed there.

If you want to move your mods to your Documents/EA/Sims 3/Mods folder then you will need to put your resource.cfg in the new mods folder, and edit the path of the various lines to say "PackedFile Packages/*.package" instead of "PackedFile Mods/Packages/*.package"

This is what I only get after repeated crashes with the infamous patch. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game thousand times and its impossible to play at all.  :'(

Did you previously mess with your Windows DEP settings? If so, you might need to add EP02 to your list of files that DEP will ignore. At first I had crashing every time I tried to enter a lot, but doing this stopped my crashing.

I've added the sims to the list in DEP and now it works!!!

After patching I noticed that all WA ground painting textures have gone missing from lots. They are still in the catalogue though.
In a fresh started neighbourhood for example, the France museum lot look like this in world view:


When I enter the lot:


I first noticed this on a lot I had built that had both textures from base game and WA. The base game ones were still there, but not the WA ones.
Has this happened to anyone else?
