I had been working on a Sunset Valley to suit my needs, but in reality I pretty much only added a couple roads(but a ton of lots).
And it is way too much effort, as you have to replace all the scenery and lots and spawners, too.
I'm sure modders will figure out new lots sizes soon enough.

Is the lot editor from the Ambitions torrent or the patch. Have you tried placing lots with it and is it successful?

You can place the lots wherever you want, as long as there's clearance on both sides and it's level enough for it.
They added that feature in edit town so you can add the new lot types (the old neighbourhoods are not updated with Ambitions lots). As long as you change the lot type from residential to whatever you want, that is.

I fiddled with CAW for a bit to try and create an Apocalypse neighbourhood for the Apocalypse Challenge I rewrote for TS3, and gave up. I didn't have enough patience to create anything of good quality.
I suppose I'll return the topic to the subject of the torrent. My new ETA flip-flops between 1 day and 6 days now, so that's an improvement. It doesn't help that I have a connection speed that is only marginally faster than dial-up.

Oh no, I hope that doesnt mean ti has to be relatively level, and instead that it can't be excessively steep...
Also, I don't htink I'll finish my updated Sunset Valley. It has too much tearing and too many visible lot edges. I don't want to bother.
