I had the phone jump bug problem not long ago. It was the Beaker House. They could use cell phones but not the handsets. I removed all the CC but it didn't help. I ended up deleting the house and using simsample's tutorial on MTS to get the house back.

firstly, i don't have any inventory because i don't have any expansions so it can't be that.
second, i'm a totaly computer noob hence i don't know how to check for custom content. I might have some left over from the last time i was playing the sims (i had to un-install it).

Look in your downloads folder. If you don't have one, you don't have any.

I've downloaded thw sims 2 business but I ahven't installed it....perhaps that?
