Swimming pool glitch after WA? SOLVED.

I believe this started after WA and the patch upgrading the game, and it's related with adding EA basement to the game. The problem is you can't see your sims swimming any more. They all "sink" to the lower level:

Do you also have this problem or it's just me?

Try turning up your detail settings? Object-hiding is one of the game's lazinesses on lower settings.

No go. With details on the highest, it's still the same.

I'm seeing this, too. I also assumed it has something to do with the new basement feature.

I'm not getting it. I think you're getting this because your high-detail-lots setting is very low, and it looks like your lot is being rendered in low-detail as a result. Wait for it to morph into high-detail. Notice how the water quality in the first screenshot is crap?
