Google "show known file extensions" and follow the instructions for your OS.
Edit what will probably then show as "resource.cfg.txt" (or possibly "resource.txt") to be named just "resource.cfg"

I think this is what happens when you lack the .dll in the WA tree.
Excuse me for sounding entirely stupid, but what does that mean?

Look, stop bloody cringing! ::)
Baarogue means you need the d3dx9_31.dll file in two places.
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 World Adventures\Game\Bin
Hey, I don't have it in two places...
I'm guessing it was something missing from the torrent.
Would I be able to copy the file from my TS3 Bin to the WA one, or are they different?
FireDrake:
They're both the same Innuendo. :)
But, I don't have the DCCache folder in my Mods>Packages folder. Am I missing something here? It's been like this the whole time I've had the game. I have awesomemod and Delphy's Install Helper, so I have the framework and the Mods folder set up right. Do I have to manually put in the DCCache folder myself?
Thanks,
~Fire_Drake ;D
aya_alexa:
yeah i think you should manually create it since that was what i did. then i put the cfg file after.
