EA store stuff in *.dbc format - a torrent

witch:
There's a 'modify' post button for a reason, use it. Also we don't go much on gushy thanks here, it just makes us mad when we load the thread only to find another gusher and nothing new or useful or funny or mean.

ElsaVonNarbe:
ok i got it to work, didn't notice my resource.cfg wasn't the good one u__u
opened it with notepad++ and changed it

there's new stuff on the sims 3 store, can't wait for someone to share!! (could never do it myself T__T )

spaceface:
What is wrong with your keyboard? What are all those disembodied letters and lines for? And please get your Shift key replaced.

Sexual Innuendo:
Is there a problem with it working with Loft Stuff? I installed it yesterday and copied my Mods folder and resource.cfg in there, but the Store stuff won't show up in-game at all.

Cynfire:
Thanks for these Witch, but I seem to be having a small problem with the Riverview.world file. I searched to see if anyone else reported this problem but may of missed it, so feel free to smack me. ;D

I installed it correctly and got it working in my game, yet the names of every household, lot, lot description and sim have been changed to "World/Riverview/Household:FamilyName" "World/Riverview/Sim:Bob World/Riverview/Sim:Newbie" etc. I've re-downloaded the file from 4Sharded about 5 times, triple checked the install and its still the same. I've taken a few sims back into CAS using AM, changed the name back but it reverted back to " "/" "/Sim:Bob name. I forgot to check to see if it would happen to a newly created sim, but I'm suspecting it will turn out the same, I will check that out in a few moments and edit this later.

Its no big deal really, just a little annoying and figured I'd report it.

Edit: It doesn't seem to happen to new CAS sims, just pre-exsisting ones that came with Riverview. :-\
