I finally stumbled upon a thread here that actually showed where to put the files and which ones. AM now works! I had thought that it would be the same setup as the base, but that wasn't the case. Now the only problem I have is that all my store bought items will not load. And there apparently isn't a way to go to the store ingame on the Mac side so there is no way for me to fix this. Ah well. I'll deal.

It's the exact same fix you'd use on the Windows side of the game.  The only difference is that the files directories are different.  I have a Mac and, after much fiddling around, I got all my shared store CC working.  All you have to do is read through the 1.8/2.3 release thread in "The Horror, The Horror."  That thread will tell you what to do.

I'm not sure what you are referring to, but I was talking about things I bought from the Sims 3 store. I found a workaround on the Windows side to get these things to work, but it requires going to the store via the game and there is no way to do that on the Mac side. The buttons just do not exist. I've written EA about it, but there has been no response.

Ah, my mistake.  I thought you were saying that our method that is being discussed does not work for Mac.  After I reread your post I see that you mentioned going to the store in-game.  I missed that the first time.   ::)  Our method does work though, and you should be able to get all of your CC to work with it.

I'm testing this now on the Windows side of my comp. I had to uninstall CAW because it just wouldn't run for some reason so I'm hoping reinstalling it will help. If this works I'll try on the Mac side. Thanks. I just have to find an alternate sims3pack installer for Mac.
