Just patched and already had a crash to desktop caused by the new shop mode! I was in build mode opened up the shop mode window, closed it and crash, no error message.

I had the same problem... except It was the base game, and I deleted my arrd copy... I've learnt from my mistake!

Yes and also sims3packs from custom content creators.
Yep. From what I can tell, launcher or no launcher, if you didn't download it from directly from the store into your game, you will no longer see it in your game.
