Patch 1.8/2.3 plus Create a World Released

I'm wondering how intrusive the new shop mode is? I'm imagining a big SHOP button in the middle of the screen because that's the way EA rolls lately...
I'm running without mods right now, but still debating the patch.

:-\ Er, if I have an arr'd WA and I get "invalid file found" when trying to patch game from official site or using the patch files from here, what file is that notification referring to and how do I change it? BTW, THANK YOU MATY for all you do to help us lame folks.

Tha same for me. Many of the sims3packs aren't in my game anymore. It doesn't help to install them again. It must be something with the download dashboard?

I've got my game running with a cracked .exe for convenience.
But, like always, I forgot to backup >:(
Has anyone got the original WA tslhost.exe and TS3EP.exe so I can update?
