I cant believe I never thought of asking that. As it stands I have a live-in butler/maid/babysitter by making a sim with the proper traits and just transforming them into a live-in NPC, and they're pretty inefficient.

A supreme commander "Clean" or "Care for kids" option would be fantastic. They'd never have to stop!

THough they would do a lot of standing around. Can supreme commander-ized sims be autonomous when there's nothing to do?

They already are, although they try not to because doing something may lock them into an extended loop that they can't escape from.

What is with the A.I. in this game?  Who designed it at EA?  Captain Kangaroo?  Trying to do activities with your Sim friends is like trying to pull teeth.  You can't hang out at the beach with a friend and shoot the breeze because your friend will go off and do his/her own thing.  It's like you have to play along with what your friends do most of the time.

I have a request:  Improve the A.I. of Sims.  That's probably out of your league, though.   Cheesy

I'd like to see edible insects.

Sims with Daredevil or Insane traits are okay with eating insects, so they either get a positive moodlet or none.  Sims lacking those traits get a negative moodlet similar to eating spoiled food, "Nauseous (from eating insect)", and have to go vomit.

We tried the fish issue. It didn't work out because the fish are enormous and clip through the sim's head and body massively.

Trait based, perhaps?  A Neat sim would never eat bugs, and obviously a Vegetarian sim wouldn't for other reasons.  Perfectionists might not.  But Slobs might love it, or maybe Adventurous sims (the WA-added trait) would be excited about trying it out as in some countries some bugs are a delicacy.

Similarly, the reactions could be trait based.  Obviously, a sim that would eat bugs him/herself shouldn't be disgusted by seeing someone else eat them.

I'd like to see an option to modify the number of days remaining in a particular lifestage of a sim.

Also, perhaps a setting for randomizing non-active sims' graves? I only ever play one family, so everyone else is doomed to receive the crappy grave because they hardly gain any Lifetime Happiness points (therefore never reaching the threshold for ye olde tombstone). Maybe it could be weighted (crappy grave more likely, good grave least likely) with other factors, such as wealth, further affecting the chances.

Please.  Please, please, please make the following changes, if possible:

1.) Stop the freaking singing while sims are fishing.  I made the mistake of having my first travelling sims learn the local songs.  They then proceeded to sing constantly (and badly) whenever they went fishing, completely ruining the lovely outdoor peaceful ambiance I generally enjoy whenever I send sims fishing.  So, having learned my lesson, I never again let my travelling sims learn the local songs.  But now one of my sims has married a local.  She sings beautifully, but nonetheless, fishing is meant to be enjoyed in FREAKING SILENCE!  I can't stand it anymore.  Please...

2.) Please make sims who have developed any significant degree of martial arts skill stop doing their stupid kata moves whenever they have a SPARE SECOND of free time.  I keep my sims busy and they don't have many free seconds, but they still manage to squeeze in those blasted katas all the time.  Again, I can't stand it anymore.  PLEASE...

3.) Stop the inventory contents from rearranging whenever a sim goes on vacation or comes back from vacation.  I keep the inventory arranged in a very specific order, and it takes a LOT of work to put everything back where it belongs every time a sim travels.

Wow this thread has gotten long.  The last time I read it, we were talking about peeing in tombs.  There are some really cool ideas here. 

I'm wondering if the code could be finagled in such a way as to temporarily cause trait-specific idle behaviors while drinking nectar.  My thought is to induce drunken behaviors.  As I mentioned in another post- I'd like to see more clumsiness after one drink; more childlike and crazy behavior after two drinks; more neurotic, flirty, and mean-spiritedness after three drinks; and some worshiping of the porcelain god after four.  I think this kind of temporary personality shift would add quite a bit of fun to the nectar tasting that seems to go on 24-7 at the nectary.

I have no idea what the possibility of it happening is, but a temporary trait sounds like a good idea for that. Take a drink or two, and you have Childish, Clumsy, Excitable, Party Animal tacked on for a couple hours...

Seconded. I'm playing a legacy household, and early on I married a French local, and now anyone who ever tries to fish will sing badly. Worst is that as a French-speaker the French Simlish is close enough to real French to sound almost correct, as opposed to the nonsensical non-country-specific Simlish, so the song ends up as an annoying earworm.

I'd second the request to see a "maid" option in Supreme Commander. They could do power idle when not cleaning, allowing us to create neglected servant sims. That and the eating of insects, so long as they aren't worth more than 500 simoleons.

I'd personally like to see a fishing macro added for children since they can actually fish, and a fix so that kids can gain fishing skill from watching tv like the adults do.

If the problem isn't just in my game, would you fix the HELS aquarium?  For some reason, I can only have one fish in it at a time.  If I try to put in more, they disappear.   Angry

ETA:  I posted this issue in the "Fishtank Woes" thread (in "The Horror, The Horror").  Apparently, I'm not alone.

So build the house without a family on the lot, or move the family to a new home without evicting them. There are plenty of ways to do it without breaking ties.

Sort fish by size within quality....

The game sorts the quality of the fish, but within the same quality - does not sort the SIZE of the fish.

I'm on an eternal hunt to find my biggest fish to feed my omni plants.....
