Getafe:
Hey yall

I am wondering if I can have some help please with your MOD?
I have your awesomemod installed on my computer/game and I am wondering why it don't do what it used to do
I wanted the awesomemod only for the fact it stops "Story Progression"
Well it used to anyway...
Any reason why it don't stop story progression anymore?
I mean I have it turned off in options... your Mod is in the game and all up to date... Ive used the Indie mod found on modthesims.info
Even tried that "-disablestoryprogression" but none of them work :(
My sims still keep getting promoted and earning money while I am away from that family... no matter what I do :(
I don't want that
Is there anything I am not doing?
Is there anything I am going wrong?
Is there anything someone can do to help me resolve this problem?

Thank you for your time reading this message
I hope you can reply and help (=

Is promotion/earning money the only thing that's still going on?  I'm not exactly sure, but I think this is normal; sims will get promoted if they're needed as a boss/coworker.  If story progression was still running as it's intended, there would be a lot more going happening.

You know, on second thought, you might not even need awesomemod if you're only using it for this reason.  The most recent EA patch should have fixed this problem.

Getafe:
Yeh only money and promotions...
everything else is fine :D

But even without the mod its still happening :(
Can you tell me whats the latest patch called?
Cus I just don't understand why sims story progression is doing this

Thanks for your help though (=

Dragon Slave:
If you're able to use awesomemod, you probably already have the latest patch.  What you're seeing is intended, even with story progression off.  Story progression usually makes changes such as move ins, outs, births, large things - and the minor things as well.  If you're not seeing any of this, then that's proof that it's working.

What you want to disable is "AllowInactivePerfGain" - which allows job performance to go up while not being played.
