New Expansion?

Hi, I'm new to the forums, and a noob :-\
Anyways, I got a new expansion : Apartment Life and I have it installed and everything but my question is:
Is it supposed to clear your sims and custom content from past expansion? and if isn't supposed to do that then how do I fix it?
I have deluxe and my Downloads folder is in the Deluxe folder and The Deluxe and Apartment folder is both in the EA Games folder..
Help pl0x?

You have to enable custom content through the game options, then shut down your game, and then restart it. The CC should show up in your game after that.

This isn't the place to be for how to do simple things. Go to MTS2's help section, and follow their easy-to-follow steps to make sure you installed it correctly.
