Reformat your hard drive and reinstall Windows? Well yes there's that but it's rather a drastic step to take. :P

This has been a big help. I'm going straight to AM and download a google'd 1.2 patch then 1.3 after reinstalling. I really hope this works out.

Get the patches first then worry about Awesomemod.
Do NOT install the patch that comes with Razor. Just install the Razor version of the game itself.

Or you can let the EA Download Manager via the Sims 3 Launcher do it. You don't need to log in or a CD in the drive to use it.

I earnestly hope that if possible, they can remove the faulty FV patch in the Razor torrent. I understand it was meant to use before the screwing-game-up official 1.3 patch came out, but now I'm unsure of their meaning/point and why they were there in the folder in the first place....
But thanks for the link! Although I know if I click the thank button a bleating sheep will come out at me on my screen. From lurking for awhile, I think I know what Pescado hides around ..sometimes :D
