No wants and game freezes

I have a huge problem with a couple of my families. Several Sims don't have any wants or fears any more, it's just blank. I've seen this before, but then they get new wants after a little while. But not any more. And now whenever I enter a lot where there is a Sim with wants or fears missing the game freezes after a little while.

I tried boolprop and I got this error message: "Object error, an error occured in object 'Wants - Controller" #27. Error: too many iterations'".

Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

It's possible you have an unupdated version of some of the earlier versions of want-tuning hacks. Update those.
