THANKS THIS IS GREAT

I have the newest AM (from today) and honestly, the jumping plate of food is really out of control in my game.  Here is the save, it's right at the point my sim is running around carrying the plate.  I tried to stop the command in the queque to grab a plate and it won't go away, then I clicked on the plate and selected 'clean up', hoping it will stop him from going all over the place carrying the plate, the queque command of 'Grab a plate' just won't go away even though it's been X'd out.  And there are guests over.  The jumping plate into the fridge is somewhat Ok to deal with just a family but when it is a large family with guests, it's impossible, the plate keeps going into the fridge before the guests can eat, their queque cancels out but not the sim carrying the plate, he is stuck in limbo.  Anyway, if there's any way you can slow down that jumping plate of food into the frige, it would make it a lot easier for all of us, I beg you to consider the time you have it set to "hop" into the fridge, if that plate can just stay on the counter long enough for everyone to eat (guests included), it will make life easier for my sims and me!  Wink

It looks like you've corrupted your neighborhood, as one of your game's owned rabbitholes has become somehow unravelled and no longer is correctly linked to the world. Although I have added a workaround to prevent an error on encountering this, this REALLY should not be happening and something has gone very wrong with your neighborhood.

I am using the new small Rabbit Holes, and have been moving them around a bit. Is there a way to know which one? Would it help to delete them? Or is that the thing that makes stuff worse?

ETA: I deleted caches and restarted, havent't seen the FSE since.

However, story mode seemed to have no effect on them. Maybe it's just a coincidence, or maybe it's because I left SC turned on (with instructions to work on his book), but the two were engaged but never actually married even after playing other families for a whole sim week.
A sim can't engage in Story Mode until his queue finishes, so leaving him on Supreme Commander would mean his queue is never finished and he is always actively doing something and not available for a story action.

That wasn't clear to me, I probably missed it. My bad. But this is good to know; if I ever have someone that I don't want Story Mode affecting, I'll make sure I engage SC!

I've got a problem with the fridge in one household whereby any food stored in it comes out spoiled regardless of how fresh it is. I've tried replacing the fridge and doing the 'fixall' command but it's still happening. There is no 'clear out spoiled food' interaction so I'm wondering if it becomes spoiled at the moment a sim removes it from the fridge. Other fridges in other households are working ok.

I had a spoiled food bug awhile ago.  It appeared to happen when I packed a family refrigerator to move them to a fresh neighborhood. The way I was finally able to get rid of it was to nuke the refrigerator, and then move the family in and out of their house.  When they were resettled in their home, I bought a new refrigerator and only then got the green fumes enabling me to clear out bad food.  However, as a notable difference, the spoiled food was listed as spoiled in the refrigerator, but there were no thumbnails on the platters, and neither was I able to drag them out & get rid of them or the ability to clean out the fridge.

ETA:  I did not have a problem learning to cook or upgrading the stove, though.  Only the refrigerator was affected.

Oh, I was maybe unclear. I can do those things, but the food doesn't get any better, whatever I do. The family was a moved-in homeless one, no skills from start.

Well, you can try nuking your fridge, then moving them in and out & replacing the fridge with a new one.  See if that works.

This didn't work for me. what did work was splitting the family up and moving away leaving 'undersireables' behind with the glitched food.

Didn't work. Food is ok while in fridge, it gets bad the moment they take it out. Only in that house. Probably needs to be destructed.

I am attaching zip file of pic for an FSE received during play today.  The FSE occurred during a birthday party on a home lot.  AM version 11/02/09, 11:40am being used.  The only other mod in my game is the SuperComputer, V28.  The only new cc added since the 11/02/09 AM version was installed has been some of the new store items.  I have added the free bed and end table along with the children's clothes and Wild Wears toddler's clothing set.  If additional info is needed from me, plmk.

You don't have the latest awesomemod.  My copy is from 2-3 days ago, and it's not out of date, so neither is the latest version.

Delete the awesomemod .package file, and download it again from the thread.  Probably the file is failing to be replaced for whatever reason(glitch, user error, etc), and deleting it will make it work.

Clear you browser cache files, etc.  It might be that your browser is giving you the version it stored on a previous download.

Pescado is working on a final release, which is why the requests thread has been locked, and which should remove the expiry date.  Hopefully no more of these stupid out of date, where can I download posts.  Until the EP is here, then I suspect AM will go back into beta mode while the bugs for the EP are resolved, etc.

hopefully with the EP release it'll be split into two threads: "Awesomemod Base Game", and "*BETABETABETA* AWESOMEMOD BETA TESTING ONLY!!!*"  Roll Eyes Then maybe we'll see a slight drop in stupid complaints about expy dates.

Just got this Flagrant System Error twice in a row.

I had just started the game after installing a few Store sets from the Pudding factory. Any way to tell from this exactly what it's angry at? My awesomemod should be up-to-date, I downloaded new just yesterday after an "expired" warning.

I got the new AM yesterday ater the expire warning, and since then everytime I try to leave CAS, whether it's making a new Sim or just going to the wardrobe, it just continuously loads and I have to quit it via Task Manager. I thought it may have been a new item I downloaded but I removed it and it still does it. :/

Did the new version of AwesomeMod change the ability to use "dresser" on pregnant sims before they pop?  I use to change my sim clothes before they would "show", but now I get an error pop-up saying I can't use the dresser while pregnant.

Every time I update the mod, I check the configuration for changes. I didn't see anything about the dresser.

every time i go into one lot in Sunset Valley (The Goths) walls and floors have question marks on them. Also the cas tool gets disabled for the walls/floors that still work. I even deleted that save and started over but it happened again.

Got the newest AM a couple days ago. I'd entered CAS using the editsim cheat and it worked fine until I exited. The first time the freezing wasn't immediate, I had my sim sit down for a while, and then she ordered pizza and was waiting for that. About a minute later the game froze to "(Not Responding)", and I couldn't even close it. I had to restart my computer cause no control alt deleting or the like would work.

After restarting I entered editsim again and reworked the sim (didn't touch the body slider or age tab). I finished and it froze to (Not Responding) once more. Any idea what's going on? It'd be a damn shame not to be able to use editsim anymore.

Bad CC, I think. There's no other changes to CAS that are really executable.
