Thanks dai-kun  I finally got it to work......... I can download off the exchange without a registration code.

Which is the reason that EA is doing it.  They want pirates to miss out on enough stuff that they'll consider buying the game.  Looks like the strategy is working.

If the whole store was free then it would at least be a decent strategy.
