Download overriding my Eye Replacements
(1/1)
tabbs:
Hi everyone.
So I downloaded a sim from the Exchange & I guess they had their own eye replacements, so now the ones that I created don't show up anymore.
I was wondering how I could delete this other file that seems to be overriding my own file.
I just can't seem to find this file either - I installed this sim through EA's installer if that helps.
I have also tried re-installing my own eye replacement (deleting the Cache files) and still nothing works.
Also is there a Download manager or a Clean installer yet?
I just don't want this thing to happen again.
Thank you for any help you can give me as well.

Try deleting the simCompositorCache. Also, I don't think that the other download can be transferred to your game, as a mod like that should be a package file. You would have to download that file to actually make a change in your game. Unless, someone have the ability to make tuning mods thru a Sims3Pack, which I doubt.

Ok so now none of my downloads are working - I'm not even sure what happened.
What I've tried:
Deleting Cache FilesRe-Installing FilesDeleting Sims out of the SavedSimsDeleting the Resource.cfg File
I don't know what else to do - Can anyone help me?

When you deleted your Resource.cfg, you replaced it with a new one, right? Because no mod can run without it.
