I think so. Can't picture it right now. It's tiiiiiny though.

I used the tick both times but I am not experiencing any SavedSims folder either in My Documents or the Program Files hierarchy.

It deposits the sim under My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\SavedSims all nice and ready to upload.
