I'm from Games4theworld and with the risk of being burned to death, I have a question about Simport.
A lot of people are asking whether or not it is possible to bypass registering a game since they want to use Simport to its full capacity, but are unwilling or unable to register.
While searching this forum, I did come across http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,18654.0.html but it doesn't seem to me that that's what our people are looking for.
Is there a way to use Simport without registration or is it impossible to start with?

As of right now, no one has figured out a way around registration to use Simport because all the social network crap from Showtime is managed through EA's servers, although some players have reported successfully Simporting with a registered basegame and unregistered Showtime. If it's just a matter of unlocking content, there is a mod on Mod the Sims 2 that unlocks all the items you get from Simporting. If it's a matter of just wanting to use the social networking crap, set your members on fire and don't look back.

Some of us have only 1 registered game and the Simport will work to full capacity with an unregistered Showtime.
It is indeed about the social features for most of our members, I'll just tell them to bring a fire extinguisher next time they log on to our forum. ;D
I'll have a look at that mod for those that want it.

I know this is MATY and we're all about being good pirates but just go out there, buy a stuff pack and register it. That's all you need for a Sims 3 account.
