WCIF a mod to hide/remove the option to 'tinker' with stuff?

Is it really that hard to avoid performing a non-autonomous action?

Intenionally avoiding it, not hard at all. Accidentally is anothing matter. I mis-click it for another option from time to time, so I wondered if there was a mod to hide/remove it.

That's easily solved by reading what you are about to click on before doing so. Pause the game if need be.

If the words are really difficult, you can always try sounding them out one letter at a time.

I'm trying to get the tub shown in this old MS3B update http://mysims3blog.blogspot.com/2010/05/big-modern-bathtub-by-sunny.html from Sims Paradise, made by Sunny. They've closed up shop but I have no clue what this particular creator's sharing policy is. Does anyone know where I can get it?  ???

I'm actually looking for two things.

Firstly, a mod that allows me to buy my sims' books in the  bookshop. It'd make the whole 'bestseller' thing a lot more believable if I could actually buy them.
I don't actually know if this exists or is possible, and I suspect probably not, but there's no harm in trying.

Second thing is a nice, small sized neighbourhood that isn't riddled with CC. My computer finds it too difficult to run the larger 'hoods without incredible amounts of lag, but the small ones work fairly well. I just have terrible luck finding them, and most are pretty bad or have twenty metric tonnes of CC that are just too aggravating to download.
I have one called Liberty Bay that I really like, but it's really boring playing in the same one every new game. I've tried to make my own, but that's not where my talents lie.

Much appreciated.

I think one of Twallans mods allows you to buy your sims books at the bookstore.
