WCIF a mod to hide/remove the option to 'tinker' with stuff?

Is it really that hard to avoid performing a non-autonomous action?

Did anyone disclose if they had properly working version?

The phone uploaded by Anach works after decrappifying for me.

If you're using sims3packs you have to uninstall it from the launcher first, you can't just install the new one on top of the old one.

I'm quite aware of that, common knowledge and such. I had originally downloaded the Generations registration gift from here first when it had originally came out but it, too, had the same issue that the one I recently downloaded from the store had. And yes, I when I decrapified it, I did it correctly. If someone posted a properly working version, I hadn't known about it.

When you say "the one from here", which one are you referring to? Last time I checked, it was being shared by various people in various formats. Did anyone disclose if they had properly working version?

"The one from here" meaning the one Anach uploaded two days ago, in which he says is the new fixed version from EA.

LadyFu:
Hello there! I've got a request / WCIF:

Is there a mod or hack somewhere which lowers (or better make absolutely quiet) the burglar alarm? It takes so long until police arrives and that sound makes me crazy (ah, and please no answers about don't buy the alarm ;D )

(Sorry for bad English!)

Intentionally avoiding it, not hard at all. Accidentally is another matter so I wondered if there was a mod to hide/remove it.
