The reset sim thing did not work for me when my baby got kidnapped.
However when I moved sombody else into the family the baby appeared on the lot again as a child.
I suppose its possible this could work for your teen.

That save is long gone now, but it sounds like a likely solution. If it happens again I'll give your suggestion a try and report back here. Thanks.

I actually like bugs like this to an extant in order to make interesting story fodder. You could consider the teen as a troubled youth who ran away from the police and your neighborhood altogether. Perhaps he had some terrible secret or just needed to get as far away from the hood as possible. There's lots of interesting ways to use such bugs that add drama to the stories. It would be cool if he popped up later on but it sounds as though he's a goner.
With that all being said, bugs like this are certainly annoying and hopefully this won't happen on a regular basis for you and others.

I am new here so this is my first post. I thought EA had a patch that was available for the leaked version? Are any of you using it? How come they have not released a patch or anything. I have not had this issue just yet.
Why would EA provide a patch for the pirated version of the game?
