 THANKS THIS IS GREAT
It's Awesomemod. It fixes story mode and a bunch of other nice things. Future features include added traits, and other happy fun things. Due to the nature of TS3, THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE. Semper Fidelis Tyrannosaurus! This content is not suitable for those under 18.

REQUIRES: Delphy's Framework Install Monkey For Dummies OR framework.zip (Advanced/Mac Users Only!)

The Manual is now too long to fit in a post and can be viewed here or here.

For those wishing to pick and choose features, you can use the online AwesomeMod Configuration Tool.
Or you can hack the XML yourself. Up to you.

NEW UPDATE
Added A/YA category kludge for outfits incorrectly enabled for only one category and thus not appearing in the other category: Game will ignore this error and enable for both anyway. -REFIXED
Fixed EA Bug preventing sims from entering advanced romances after ending an existing one. Use "fixall" to correct previously bugged sims.
Added "Always Build Here" option, so that pressing the build/buy button will always activate build/buy on the lot you are looking at rather than suddenly whipping you home.
Fixed another "Become Parent Of Random Sim And Have Named Changed" Bug.
Fixed issue with sim becoming randomly heartbroken on vacation.

NEW UPDATE
Hair Kludge now excludes hats from being forced to appear in all categories.
Hair Kludge no longer causes career objects to be duplicated in the display.
Fixed support for plugin Skills, changed NewValues.
Added No Singing option requested by Fat Gwilly People.
Added tantalizing hints of the Undiscovered Shiny to the code for taunting purposes.
Fixed issues with dead sims being displayed as alive while on vacation: FixAll in each subhood to retroactively correct previous issues.
