I just said. If you have the most recent version of OS X (10.5.7), you can do it from System Preferences.

> Set access

You have to then grant access to all the programs you want to allow, but it takes 2 minutes.

Wait, that will set what programs are allowed incoming connections; for the outgoing connections you need to setup the firewall through the shell, or use Little Snitch.

If you put a program on that list, it will ask you about both.

and it concerns incoming connections only.

When I put programs on that list, it asks me with a popup if I am going to allow outgoings. I think. Something did. Hmm.
